A blood test for heartburn and stomach pain can provide insight into the presence of Helicobacter Pylori, a bacterium that can cause stomach inflammation and ulcers. It helps determine whether an infection is the cause of the symptoms.

These markers indicate whether there is an active or past infection with Helicobacter pylori, a bacterium that can cause stomach complaints.
It is possible that a test may lead to incidental findings. Prior to the examination, Prescan will ask whether you wish to be informed about incidental findings for which monitoring or treatment may be possible, as well as incidental findings related to conditions in your offspring.
