To provide insight into the effects of the bodyscan as a tool for preventive medical examination, Prescan commissioned TNO to conduct a study to (a) investigate the physical and psychological effects of the bodyscan.

Many clients definitely wanted to have another body scan. Almost all clients do not regret having done the bodyscan (99.4%). Most clients are also reassured and no longer worry. Many clients definitely wanted to have another body scan.

The report was finalized at the end of January 2018. With this examination, Prescan hopes to provide a solid foundation in the discussion around the pros and cons of preventive medical screening. Currently, work has begun on writing a scientific article based on the TNO report, which describes the examination and results. After scientific publication, the TNO report will be made public.
