What is an x-orbit and why do I need to undergo this examination?

In an x-orbita, an image of the eye socket is taken using X-rays. You do not feel the X-rays, and in this "low-dose" form, they are harmless. If you need to undergo an x-orbita, you have indicated that you have previously had metal splinters in your eyes. This X-ray will show if there are any splinters still present. The cost of the X-ray will be charged to you. If metal splinters are found, the MRI examination cannot proceed. In that case, the costs of the MRI examination will not be charged to you.
